ISSUES

Let's get back to basics!

AFFORDABILITY

To achieve true affordability, we need to build more homes. Study after study has shown, the only way to bring down prices is through more abundance of options. We support those who will champion more homes of all types.

More homes do not need to come at the expense of neighborhood character. Everyone can picture defunct corridors in their cities that are ripe for more housing.

The only way to build more homes is to ensure the process is as efficient and cost effective as possible. Less fees, less red-tape and more certainty. Taxpayer subsidized buildings which cost exorbitant amounts of money is anything but "affordable".

Public Safety

We value and support our community helpers. We must reintroduce a society of reverence for our public safety heroes.

There is always room for doing things better. People who shout "defund" or work to reduce our public safety programs need to be rejected.

Quality of Life

We will no longer tolerate encampments, or allow mentally ill and drug-addled individuals to die on our streets in the name of compassion.

We will not be shamed for demanding walk-able sidewalks and public spaces that are for everyone. It is a lie that some of the most devastating homelessness we see on the street is due to someone missing rent.

People need to be offered assistance and a safety net to help when they fall. Those who fall on economic hard times must be swiftly connected to resources to keep them housed and connect them to work advancement.

Individuals need to be reconnected to their families while those who cannot take care of themselves must get priority in shelter and other facilities. Those who engage in criminal and illegal activity must face jail.

Enviroment

Environmental & economic success go hand-in-hand. We need common sense environmental action promoting conservation, clean energy, agriculture and climate protection while ensuring we harness energy to advance our society.

A robust society demands energy. California has some of the most abundant resources in the world while our energy infrastructure and costs sky rocket. We need to utilize our environmental consciousness to guide an abundant energy policy that should be the envy of the world.

Best Schools

We have some of the highest per pupil spending, with among the lowest results. To be competitive in the future, we deserve nothing less than the best schools.

We must focus on the students and results. The bloated administrations have become a hinderance to our success. California was recently ranked 30th our the 50 states. This is unacceptable. It is not the lack of funding, it is the lack of accountability.

Economic Opportunity

We are the Golden State. Let's grow our culture of entrepreneurism, worker opportunity and risk taking. Companies should be moving their headquarters here, not fleeing. California must continue to be the land where you can strike gold!

Headline after headline is an example of businesses, workers and entrepreneurs leaving the state. We need to reinvigorate a business culture. We need less red tape, more affordability and make it easier to start and run a buisness.
