Alternative for California is a grassroots coalition of neighbors, workers, businesses, and families who believe better politics starts locally. The political class has been failing us, it is time for alternatives.

We are radicals for results. Trees should be trimmed, streets should be paved, and our neighborhoods should be safe. Dollars must go to basic services and quality of life. We need local government on our side, not on our backs. Our cities should be vibrant, functional, and happy places to live.

Southern California is the greatest place on earth. Let’s make it even better.

Vibrant neighborhoods start with robust public safety. “Defund the police” is for vocal ideologues, not the people.

The industrial homeless complex must end. We will no longer tolerate encampments, or allow mentally ill and drug-addled individuals to die on our streets in the name of compassion.

We need more homes. The only way to achieve affordability is to produce more homes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner

We have some of the highest per pupil spending, with among the lowest results. To be competitive in the future, we deserve nothing less than the best schools.

We are the Golden State. Let's grow our culture of entrepreneurism, worker opportunity and risk taking. Companies should be moving their headquarters here, not fleeing. California must continue to be the land where you can strike gold!

Environmental & economic success go hand-in-hand. We need common sense environmental action promoting conservation, clean energy, agriculture and climate protection while ensuring we harness energy to advance our society.
